I find it rather interesting that i just got this banner, and i am a subscriber.

my subscription has recently lapsed, but I can second the comment about the usefulness of full-text search in FS/T.

Yes, I agree... my subscription lapsed a couple of months ago... and I am BROKE and IN DEBT, I can't afford to subscribe right now.....and that flashing red banner is just so annoying... sure I can block it with hosts files but if anandtech wants me to watch ads if I dont subscribe, I will... so blocking via host files would block all the other advertisements too....

Actually the flashing "WINNER" banner is on the non-subscriber forums as we speak. I just saw it and it's worse than the "shock the monkey" banner.
