How do you flash the BIOS on the Radeon LE to make it the same as a Radeon DDR?

Why would you want to, you'll have to use a tweaker like the Raid-on tweaker to enable D3D Hyzer Z anyhew. Might as well just have it do the clockspeed as well.

Does anyone have those files? The MSN communities site with the files is up, but the links to the files are dead.

The flash is just as reversable, just flsh it back, no big deal, takes under 30 seconds.

Just a quick note to people who are thinking of doing this; be observant about the bios that you are going to use to flash. In particular, if you have an LE with tv out, you best be careful. Flashing with a standard ddr bios removes the tv out function from your card.

Just a note. I didn't flash mine, but radeon tweaker works wonders. I love having the profiles you can just load.

many people over at Rage3d are reporting that the bios flash does NOT enable hyperz just sets the default clock to 166. So most are running radeon tweaker anyway. Some have reported their scores over the past weeks and the differences in performace between flashed and those using radeon tweaker were negligable.

Flashing carries with it certain risks, radeon tweaker involves less risk.

By the way I had little success with raid-on tweaker by Humus. But really like radeon tweaker.

As far as HyperZ on bt default after flashing... I'm not sure of this. It looked like mine was on but I had run the tweaker programs previously so it might just be on because of that. I can't verify this (cause Im too lazy to reflash and re-reflash my board)
