HELP!!!! I just found a system that has a pcchips M810l v7.01a board. the problem is that when i replaced the 960 duron w/ a xp 2400+ chip it reads it as 1500ghz when i know its speed is 2000ghz. I been trying to flash the bios w/o any success. it had w2k installed on it but 2000/me will not make a start up disc. I've tried what i could. Now i need help. Any suggestions?

Check for BIOS protection jumper or function in BIOS, set to disable if applicable.

Download image, burn to CD, reboot PC (boot from CD set in BIOS), and enjoy the show:

NRG CD Image (Nero Burning ROM)

On Edit: That file name should read M810, not M811. I double checked the correct BIOS, it was just a typo when naming the file.

BIOS will automatically update. When finished, remove CD, reboot PC, enter BIOS and customize settings to your preference.

UPDATE: I was able to flash the board but now its reporting it as 2.2ghz and memory has dropped from 768mb to 256mb. i have two sticks of ecc server memory, 512mbpc100 and 256pc133. before the flashing it was saying 768 and after flashing its showing less. The board was first flashed w/ the pcchips 030808s bio and then w/ milt2.rom. i'm seriously thinking of just taking out the 256 and leaving the 512 stick in. This system may not get used so i dont have a problem w/ that. i have another board that i found to be working and put a xp 2800+ on it. that board and processor may not get used either.
