hey guys i followed this online guide: http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/100
to flash my bios to a x850xt one. When i rebooted the default clock speed was matched with the xt but the extra pipelines didn't come out. At the beginning of the article above, it said

"It is still running with only 12 Pipelines, even after flashing an XT Bios to it. The reason why the XT Bios does not unlock the additional pipelines can be found in the Flashrom flashing tool. It "preserves" certain ROM Bios settings when flashing another BIOS:

Several people have used a Gigabyte Bios and flashing tool to get around this, but for some reason you can not flash back to 12 pipelines with this method- if you have defective pipelines you keep them."

is it worth it and if it is how to do use gigabyte to flash it?

It's up to you if it's worth it or not. If you really don't want to risk messing up your card I'd say be happy with the extra clocks. That's not what I would do though ;)

Never flashed an ATI card so I can't really help you with that but this site has a bunch of bios's and ultilities that could probably help you. Check it out:

Well good luck with it and let us know how it turns out.
