Flashing BIOS on DFI X58, need help.

I have my old system with the DFI X58 t3eh6 board in it and I need to flash the BIOS as its been having some random issues booting that seem related to the BIOS. The problem is a lot of DFI's tools and help topics are gone even if they still offer the actual downloads.

On a Win7 x64 system, what tools do I need to flash the BIOS and how would it be done?

most mobo manufacturers now offer flashing from within windows itself. but you can also boot from a usb or burn a cd/dvd and boot from that to flash

it's a fairly straight forwards process. just ensure your machine doesn't lose power during the flash process

Really didn't give me any more information than what I already have. DFI discontinued the Lanparty line, I have no idea what their Diamond Flash utility is, how to get it, or how it works. I have no idea what to do with the optional zip they have for doing the update either. There is no documentation because all help topics were removed when they stopped producing Lanparty boards.

Well, if you find the correct DL page for your board, the zip file should contain the DOS utility and the new BIOS file. The exe is useless because it tries to make a floppy (good grief, this is the 21st century, DFI!).

Once you create that boot stick, it will act a lot like a DOS boot disk, and you should be familiar with at least two basic DOS commands, like DIR and CD.
