Flashing an AMI bios to Award...

According to MSI, you can flash their AMI bios to an Award. Here's the link It's down at the bottom.

Has anyone ever tried this feature? Is it just a buncha BS?



<< Switching between AMI and AWARD and vice versa

If your original BIOS is AMI you can use AMI FLASH Utility to program the BIOS to AWARD
If your original BIOS is AWARD you can use Award Flash Utility to program the BIOS to AMI >>

Why would you want to do that?

Personally, I wouldn't risk it. You take a chance flashing your BIOS with an updated BIOS designed for your board - the chance of running into problems by flashing a BIOS designed for another board must be trebled.

Just my opinion...
