Flash player crashes IExplorer -- WHY?

When a Flashplayer6 program is envoked all current IE sessions shut down. No warning, no error message. I've cleaned my registry and file systems using Norton Systemworks. I've re-installed Flashplayer6 with no luck.

Has anyone experienced this and what was your solution?
