Flash Memory Cards ... which one is the best ?

Hello,

I'm looking to store my confidential info and info that I don't want to go bad (if my hdd crashes) on a flash card ....

but I'm confused on which one to get ... I need the one that I will be able to carry around and one that is preferably will be able to fit into the wallet (though USB pen drive is good too) ... and I'm looking at about 256-512MB ...

people said that SD cards are not reliable ... so, which card is the best one ? which one is the most reliable ? (and it should be supported by linux too)

i like my usb pen drive, though not as thin as compact flash cards. most computers have a usb port so it is handy that way

I have several Sony Microvaults - they are totally reliable. The latest top rated one is the Lexar USB 2.0 Jump Drive.

I store my most important data on a pen drive, I have a 1GB and 256MB Buslink. They are totally reliable, never had a single problem. They also come with security protection. I bought mine for $140 the 256mb a while ago online, now these guys have it at $100. Here is the link if it helps:
