That's pretty much average price. I'm not sure how great of a deal it is but I noticed a 256 USB2 flash drive is on sale at CompUSA for $60 this week. The same item is at CC for $60 but it's with rebates. If you get CC to price match the CompUSA sale price you get get it for $40 after rebates, also check the manufacturer's website for an extra rebate cause I've found rebates on their site before

Picked up a 256MB USB 2.0 flash drive from Sam's Club about a month ago for $49.

Most Costco's have the Sandisk MiniCruzer 256MB USB 2.0 for $49.99 out the door. Amazon has that same drive for $33.00 after rebate. Those are typical prices these days.
