I made this a month ago and posted it. I made a few changes, and cleaned it up, the funny pics may or may not be safe for work.

Elegant? Not really. It just clashes completely with the rest of the text/site. It's not a restaurant or a wine listing.

Hrmm... 70% CPU usage... getting better.. but flash still sucks.

Jeez that's messy as hell. I clicked on all the colored hexagons and all the screens stayed.

Not a fan of the loading screen 'per se' but the 3dsmax elements are cool. I hate gradients though, they look like powerpoint crap.

did you do the 3d stuff with Swift 3D ? I was going to learn it once but my interest in Flash faded altogether...

yeah I modeled it in 3DS Max (9 Blocks) and then exported it to Swift3D... I'd never seen any 3D interfaces that loaded pretty quickly... I never really finished it because the flash craze died down so now I've learned to code well with html and CSS...

It's not that, to save disk space, I used a system where it d/l the font from your computer, instead of imbedding one of my own.
