No I don't think so. I have been reading on adobe forums that it is a known issue with the latest version of flash and windows 7. If you install the previous version that works for now or disable the sandboxing in 11.3. Hopefully they will issue a fix asap!

EDIT - just read this article on the issue
http://www.webmonkey.com/2012/06/flash-update-causing-problems-for-firefox-fans

No issues either with my Opera 12 /Win7 x64 and Flash, wonder if the issue could be by something simple like anti-virus or overclock?

Damnit, so I've been on Linux for over a month now and this problem is gone... till today. :( It just started doing it. And it just occured to me, I don't even know what the equivalent of ctrl+alt+del is in Linux. Looks like I'm going to need it. I guess I can just go in a terminal console and terminate firefox like I just did.

Difference now though is it seems to be more consistent. For example, this video does it 100% of the time:

No idea what that video actually is, it was a link on another forum. If I click that link, my browser completely locks up.

I've really been having problems getting players to work on the following two sites:

http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/

http://www.qr77.com/

I have Adobe Flash Player Active X 11.3.300.265

I'm on I.E.9 Win 7 32-bit.

I have the Active X Filtering unchecked. And I have Shockwave Flash Object Enabled.

When I run the Chrome browser, the players on these sites don't work either. I've contacted these two sites and they insist their audio players are working fine. Youtube works fine for me.

I just don't get it, and I'm at my wits end.

hmm, it works for me but i am on an xp machine right now. Does it work in firefox?
and do you have any kind of flash/script blocking addons enabled?

you may want to try to fully uninstall flash and install the new version that just came out.

I've just downloaded the latest version, and still no luck.

I have followed all the instructions by Adobe for addressing known issues. I have disabled Active X Filtering, I have enabled Flash Player and Shockwave Flash Object, Deleted Flash Player browsing data, removed Flash Player cache, disabled Flash Player hardware acceleration, and increased storage limit for those websites. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player countless times. Nothing seems to work.

Flash blows donkey nuts...that is all.
Ya it is VERY CPU INTENSIVE!!!!! (But on XP/Vista/Win7 i would have thought IT WOULDNT BE!!)

Best thing to do is goto www.keepvid.com and convert the vids to 3gp and watch them w/o issue using VLC,etc....... (Which is what i do if i really wanna see it w/o all the youtube crap happening)
