I just bought a Bluetooth Adapter and 4 port USB hub from my favorite store Newegg.com ( I call it Da Egg or Eggy )

Apparently they seem to have a promotion with Zonet, that's absolutely ridiculous!

Bluetooth adaper dongle was 25.99 - $19 mail in rebate
USB 4 port hub $15.99 -$15.99 mail in rebate

I ended up paying like a total of $7 bucks plus a few bucks for shipping!!


What ..... a...... Deal.......

PS I think the deal is only good till the end of this week or something like that.

I tried to buy a couple of more but they were limited to quantity of one.

yeah ill admit i just picked up the belkin 100m bluetooth in anticipation of EN on the 710 but till then, i can walk around the house with my IPAQ and be on line

edit - well some of the house but a lot farther than my old BT card

Correction, the buy.com was a class 2 device good for up to 30m while this one is a class 1 and has a 100m range. I've installed mine, works alright w/ my T610. haven't tested the range on it though.

I got mine.

Did everyone get a Zonet ZUB6100C Bluetooth adapter or did some people get the non-"C" version, ZUB6100?

The deal advertised on their website
-----------------------------------------
=> was for the "C" version.
=> pictured the non-C version.

The rebate form
-------------------
=> specifically states that the rebate is for the "C" version.
=> asks you to write in your model #.
=> depicts the non-C version.

The box Newegg sent me
-----------------------------
=> was not shrink wrapped and the adapter was bouncing around inside it's box.
=> lists non-C models ZUB6100/ZUB6110.
Their website has a separate page for the 6110.
The specs for the 6100 and the 6110 appear to be the same.

Problems / Questions

Will I get the rebate with my non-C model?
Did they send me the wrong item?
I emailed Newgg the above two questions.
They responded that I should contact the manufacturer for warranty issues.
WTF?
