FLAMING HOT with hours to go: Klipsch ProMedia V.2-400 $175 shipped

yup, dealt with them on numerous occasions. Just for comparison folks, this is cheaper than ebay, shipped.

that's a flaming HOT DEAL........
most vendors still have these at somewhere around 299....... newegg has it for 299 plus s/h

damn now i wish i had money for this kinda toy

These are the original versions but still awesome speakers. I have a set and I prefer listening to music on them instead of my Denon receiver / Energy Take5 w/ 10" sub home theater setup.

<< Update:Klipsh has officially stopped production of the original v.2-400 and has shifted to an updated 4.1 system that uses the updated crossover network found in their new 2.1 system and the new CP-1 pre-amp they are selling seperately to v.2-400 users for $50 along with a new price of $300. The new crossover network offers significantly better midrange, the major flaw of the original v.2-400 system. The CP-1 pre-amp that are included in the new system offers the following features: >>

<< So, what's the difference betweeen the v4.1 and these v.2-400? This site has the regular Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 for $299, just like other stores.
Klipsch 4.1 for $299

Different crossovers (not a big diff IMO), a mute button, headphone jack, and a line in jack...

For $175 that price is AMAZING!! I Still have my V2-400's and they ROCK! BUY THESE! 🙂

Great deal, i got a used set for $165 shipped just a few weeks back, great speakers and i would HIGHLY recommend them

Thank you, Thank you, greg. I picked up a set 😀 $175 shipped!

Great deal & excellent post, thanks so much for the heads~up.

I dunno about whether this is better than Logitehc. You can have logitect quite easily for arounf 135 or so. Infact there was a deal @gateway where u got one for 109 shipped AR. And remember Logitechs are 4.1 while these Klipsh are just 2.1. I would stronly recommend u to consider logitech z560s before u jump on this one

now i'm confused...aren't these klipsh 4.1's???

I have this model of Klipsch speakers. I paid the $50 to upgrade to the new preamp. It is a little better and it has a headphone jack on the module. I have heard the Logitech Speakers too. I built a computer for a friend and suggested them because they are such a good deal. Although for the price difference I would get the Klipsch. They just sound a litte better. It is not much of a difference but some. Either will probably make you happy.

I own the 2.4's and love em. Without a doubt more power than you'll ever need on computer speakers and sound just as good loud as they do at low levels. THX certified says it all.

These are the v2-400's (older 4.1) not the 2.1...

I have a broken set of v.2-400, and Klipsch quoted me a price of $161 just for the subwoofer/amp, so this is a good price. But I picked up a set of Z560s and haven't looked back.

The major difference that seperates Klipsch from the rest is the quality. Their connections, wiring, parts, etc are top of the line and built to last, withstand loud decibels and major auditory abuse. Z560's aren't manufactured to that quality and won't last as long.

Klipsch are expensive, but worth every penny. I bought a pair of Klipsch LaScala speakers for my stereo in 1979 and they still kick ass and rattle windows. I've gotten Yamaha's, Denon's and Infinity speakers along the way since '79 but none have ever been able to match the sound of these incredible speakers.

Z560s do sound incredible. My BF got them and they do sound awesome...until I turn on my Klipsch in the next room. Blows them away.

While I was looking around on their site I ran into the speakers here for $199 with free ground shipping.
According to that page, they're instock too.

Still a hot deal?
