Flaky USB???

Hey guys,

Weird problem... first I could live with it but its really starting to get to me and its starting to increase.

This is what the problem is and I am open to suggestions right about now 🙂.

I have 2 USB devices... the Natural Keyboard Pro and the Intellimouse Explorer 1.0.

Anywho.... sometimes the USB just stops working and both devices will NOT cooperate. First I thought this was in my favorite game UT, but its also effecting Windows XP. Actually right as we speak it already did it once. Now any suggestions what I can do. I already tried loading the beta USB filter patch by VIA. Now I think this started when I upgraded my bios... should I revert back even though I have an Athlon XP?

My sytem specs that might be related to the prob.
Epox 8KHA (latest bios, due to having a XP installed)
AMD Athlon XP 1600+
Enlight 350 W Powersupply

Open to any suggestions!!

Intermittant problems usually mean that you have a bad cable or cable connection. Try a different usb port. Try the keyboard and mouse in another computer.
These problems can also stem from the operating system and or the drivers. Do you have the software loaded for the keyboard and the mouse?
 
Yup. I have the latest of both Intelli products. Interesting... I think its the bios, hope Epox will release a new version pretty soon
