Flag Football

All the intramural flag football games at my school start at 9pm or later, and are played on a moderately lit field. I can get ISO1600 f/2.8 1/600s on the main athletic fields, but I can only manage ISO1600 f/2.0 1/400s on this field. Needless to say, night action photography is very difficult.

This was my first real attempt at sports photography. That, combined with now shooting in RAW (because postprocessing can really bring out some good parts of the picture) and starting to shoot in full manual (mainly f/3.2 - f/3.5 and 1/2500s - 1/1200s, and ISO 400-800 because of the clouds). Most of the shots were underexposed because of the bright/clouded sky. If I can get up earlier this Saturday, I might try to get photos of the varsity girls' soccer game.
