I would just like to say that fkloster is one of my most respected people on this board. He is polite and knows what he is talking about. Not only him, but many others on this board are also helpful, so i would like to thank you all for making this a great place to come and learn. Not like some other places like tom's hardware and hardOCP.

I didn't like the bastage at first and his initial intel zealot ways, but he may have been neutured cause he is been more informational and less confrontational now(unless called out). J/K

kidding aside he is from Portland and therefore can't be all that bad...I think we need intelligent intel p4 users in here to truly be able to talk about the hardware issues and compare the technologies. I don't frequent amdzone anymore for just that reason...Even if we hate INtel and its marketing schemes we can learn a lot from FKloster's experience with a P4.
 
Agree with Duvie. From what I've seen in my limited time here is that there's a core-group of folks that always have intelligent things to say. Most importantly, this same core-group doesn't say anything if they don't have something intelligent to say. (Warm-Fuzzies all around) Sniffle....we luv U, Flokster! 😉

I don't have tatoos. I don't love Intel or AMD. They are both great companies. Plain &amp; simple, I am a pure hardware enthusiast by definition. I love new exciting technologies and love to own them as well. All this zealotry talk has goto go.

Its statements like these that pollute our BBS. We may not be engineers like you JJ8, but that doesn't mean that we are dumb arses and not knowledgable about cpus. :|
 
Hmmmmm Flokster does not post tons of messages in the 3 forums I visit the most(general hardware, cpu and o/c and video) Why would this guy start some sort of apreciation thread in the general harware forum????
