Fixing MX510

Okay,

I bought an MX510 from a member, but theres a very annoying problem. About 75% of the time, the left click button is messed up. It will not fucntion. I will have to hold it down for a few seconds or I will have to click the same thing 7 or 8 times. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know how to open it? Fix it?

Good mice but thier clickers seem to muck up alot. But no I can't help you there. Do you know how old it is? Maybe under warrenty still?
Wish I could be of more help 🙁

I dont really suppose there is any kind of guide how to do so, nor anyone who really took the time out to examine how to crack it open and repair it. Most people just buy a new mouse, the logi's are going so cheap nowadays.

If the guy sold it as a "fully working" mouse then you need to have him refund or replace it.

If you bought it "as-is" because of the problem then ok... does the button actually make the click noise when you press the button or not? If not you might be able to open it up (take the screws out the bottom, they are hidden under the labels) and pop the top off. Check to see that the button itself clicks (press the thin straight part of the button), and if it does then check the plastic part that is supposed to push that.
