I managed to get a computer up and running for my brothers garage and soon as I got that done he phoned me and said his main computer died. Hopefully I show up there tomorrow with his mancave computer and fix his main computer in his house.

it's hard working under the gun with limited time. beers are actually not helping right now.

What makes you so sure it's the switch? There are a million other hardware/software glitches that could cause a computer to keep turning off.

I was fucking around with the power switch and it would flip back on me over and over on me. that make sense?

A power switch problem is a common issue that's often over looked. Many people replace the PSU not even thinking about testing the power switch. You made a good catch.
