Well since I got my new AGOIA 1600+ cpu, i popped my old XP 1700+ into another system I had lieing around (MSI KT333 Mobo and PC2700 DDR, originally running an AMD Tbird 1.4ghz). I proceeded to boot up fine, then started overclocking. Kept on going in increments, finally got to 152mhz fsb, and the computer totally locked, failing to boot into windows. After that, tried bumping up the DDR voltage, no go. I tried getting into the BIOS to go and change it now, but after I power on, all I get is a blank screen, no splash screen or anything. I tried 3 different chips (1600+, 1700+ and the Tbird) and 3 different sticks of memory (256mb PC2100 Crucial, 256MB PC2100 Kingston, and 512mb PC2700 fake Samsung) but still no boot-up. Tried resetting the bios, still no go. Tried disconnecting all cables 'cept vid card and mouse and keyboard, still no go. This is the 2nd time something like this has happened to me, wondering if I should RMA it (like I did with another board in the past, another MSI) or if theres anyway to fix it.

Since you've already cleared the CMOS....try setting the jumpers in the mobo to the safest configuration (e.g. FSB 200 instead of 266). Does the cpu fan spin when you attempt to turn on the computer? If it doesn't, unplug the power cord from the power supply, turn the power supply switch to off (o) for a minute, replug the cord, switch it on and try to turn it on from the case power switch. If the fan is powering up, try unplugging everything (drives, ide cables, video card, PCI cards, etc) from your mobo, except, CPU, fan, power supply cable, case power switch cable and case speaker. Also unplug the power going into the drives. Turn on computer from case button. Listen for beep codes. If you get nothing, your mobo is probably fried. If you do get codes, replug the memory and video card and monitor only. Turn on and cross your fingers.

I finally got the computer to POST, but no matter what I do, I cant get into the BIOS. I hit delete that would bring me into the BIOS, a message comes up about the fan not being in supposedly (watercooling so to be expected), I hit N (no, dont shutdown the computer) and it just restarts. I tried clearing the CMOS, removing the battery for an amount of time, but it still wont go back to the base BIOS settings.
