Sorry to say, but my SetiQueue server died overnight...I went to use it this AM, and found a "Cannot find NTLDR...press any key to restart".

I managed to find the "any" key, but it still wouldn't start. :( ;)

In any case, the queue will be down until at least 10:00 EST tonight, when I'll have a few minutes to try and resurrect it. I don't think I've lost the stats, etc...just the OS.

Again, sorry.... (I really must get my new server built, so I can move this stuff off my workstation!)

Strange enough, my router had a little surge this morning & was also out. Had to crawl around the back & unplug everything. :frown:

I'm crunching on the caches, so take your time. :)

A lot of the time, the "NTLDR" message you described doesn't nessicarily mean the OS is hammered. Sometimes, it's as simple as a disk left in the floppy drive ;)

Some Googled links for you:
http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000465.htm
http://www.computing.net/dos/wwwboard/forum/14051.html
Google Groups - "NTLDR is missing" but boots to OS with CD in drive!
Google Groups - "NTLDR is missing, Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart."
Google Groups - "NTLDR is missing" after update

Hope this helps! :)
