I just bought a new Plextor 12/10/32 EIDE CD-RW. It burns audio cd's fine. When I try to burn a data cd using Easy cd creator 4(adaptec),that came with it, it says "Please insert a Cd with sufficient space" No matter what size file I choose. I tried one of the smallest files I have and the same error. Yes I am using a new CD-RW that came with the plexy. I am running windows Me. See my rig for system specs. Please Help!
 
I downloaded an update, I'm not sure if it was 4.02d or not. I just removed that software and I'm loading NEro to give it a shot.
 
I used the adaptec software to format the CDRW. Will it only work with adaptec now? I tried nero and it says the disc is not writable?!?
