I have a shuttle sn41g2 and logitech z-640 speakers. The shuttle has nforce2 onboard sound.
I set it to 6 channel sound (6 = 5.1) in the nvidia control panel. And that the rear and center/sub are connected to the line in and mic in.
When I run the test sounds I only get the front right and left, rear right and left, and the sub to work. The center test sound is muffled and seems to be coming from the sub.
If I pull the center/bass 1/8" plug half way out, I am able to get the center channel to work.
Anybody else have this same setup? Do you have the same problem? What am I doing wrong?
My z640 worked with a shuttle ss51g because the control panel for the onboard audio had a reverse center and bass setting.
Already checked the center volume knob. And I know the center speaker works because when I use the matrix button on the logitechs, sound comes outta the center speaker.
