I'm trying to edit the link in my signature for this line:
<a href="http://www.heatware.com/eval.php4?id=2301">Heatware</a>
to be changed to:
<a href="http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=2301">Heatware</a>

Ideally my total signature should be:
Devistater
<a href="http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=2301">Heatware</a>
<a href="http://www.paypal.com/verified/pal=wlhyt%40pacbell.net ">Paypal verified</a>
<a href="http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=wlhyt">Ebay Feedback</a>

However, everytime I try and edit it, it complains about it being too long. I even removed a bunch of crap from it that AT added to my sig last time I changed it a long time ago. I dont understand how removing a bunch of characters from the current length still is too long.

Anyway, does AT still offer a subscription payment service? I once had that a while back, perhaps that is affecting it. I wouldn't mind signing up for that again if it would let me do this change. Its only removing a single character from my html link and is making it SHORTER lol.

Failing that, I'd appreciate it if a mod could make that one little change.

Edit:
Hey thanks guys. I edited my sig to:
And it works. Yeah my sig actually had HTML in it in the box. So thanks for suggestions. AT has a great community as always :)

You aren't allowed to use html in your sig. You need to use UBB tags like [[/b]l] for linking, [[/b]b] for bolding, etc. During one of the upgrades all of the UBB tags were converted to html in your sig, so you'll have to fix it manually.

Copy and paste this text in to your sig. Your links should be:
[[/b]l=Heatware]http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=2301[[/b]/l]
[[/b]l=Paypal verified]http://www.paypal.com/verified/pal=wlhyt%40pacbell.net[[/b]/l]
[[/b]l=Ebay Feedback]http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=wlhyt[[/b]/l]

And will end up looking like this:
Heatware
Paypal verified
Ebay Feedback

You aren't allowed HTML, but he was correct in showing it expanded because that is what is restricted to 255, the expanded HTML version.

No. The expanded html makes no difference. FustTalk only stores the UBB code on the server. It isn't expanded until the server appends your sig to a post. (I think. Jason would have to tell you for sure.)

Edit: Perhaps you're right. Plain text vs. UBB link have different "max" lengths.

This is just under the limit:
[[/b]L=...]http://www.google.com[/L]

Zuni has posted before that the 255 character limit includes all the HTML formatting.
