It did not happen right away, but now I'm freezing in desktop and it's asking me if I want to send error reports to ATI (new to me), and the upon restart says do you want to send an error report to MS after, of course, treating me with a standard error report.

Never had anything like this before, when I ran 3.3? for ~6 months + then 3.9 for a month, now 3.10. I think I went to 3.10 because it fixed errors in Call of Duty, but I will go back to 3.9 if this thing gets any worse.

Card is 9500 non-overclocked.

Sorry guys: I fixed the problem by relaxing my mem settings:eek:

Any overclocks and/or mods to your card?

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?

No oc. Gigabye stopped updating bios for this mobo back in nov 2002. I don't think its a hardware problem since the system ran fine with older Catalysts for about half a year.

No one else experiencing instability with 3.10?

Are you talking about the video card? No mods, and I don't know about chipset drivers, I must look that up.

I disabled VPU Recover on my machine, and I have not had any problems with Cat 3.10 drivers. This is with a Radeon 9700np and an overclocked AMD T-bred machine.

Yes. You haven't performed any BIOS flashes or soft-mods for it have you?

It's critical that you install the latest chipset drivers for your system.
