Thus we have come full circle, where the far left envisions itself as the center (threatened by the huge right wing) and not only gets their political information and direction from a comedian, but is actually becoming proud of the fact.

I'm not even far left. I'm closer to center left. Most people I know are who are left are left of me. No politician I've seen is left of even most of the more centrist and reasonible people I know. The GOP is center right to far right and the Tea Party is beginning to make the rest of the GOP look centrist in comparison. And as far as Jon Stewart goes, watch the Daily Show, he actually delivers news in a non-biased manner. I don't watch the show for the news though, I watch the show for the entertainment. I get my news from a variety of sources.
