The wife and I ate there last week for the first time and I thought it was pretty good. I dont see why everybody says that it is super greasy and what not. My burger seemed to be perfect and same with the fries. I did like the amount of fries I got too.

it may not be any greasier than any other burger, but the relatively small bun and use of aluminum foil, which doesn't absorb grease, may make the grease more apparent.

I like Five Guys. They're pricey, but the burgers are great. In diameter they're small, but you're getting two patties, and I've never felt less than full after eating one. Also, you can buy one small fry for three people.

Being my first time there, I ordered a large for my wife and I to share. The guy told me "no" and that all I needed was a normal size. He was right....

Love Five Guys. Their burgers are awesome (but not as good as in-n-out). But I tell them to take it easy on the fries. Way too much and too greasy.

5 Guys is pretty good for FF burgers. Whataburger isn't bad either.

Plus I got a trip to the west coast coming up so I'll be hitting In N Out.

I didnt think so. We got 2 burgers, an order of fries, and two drinks for $15.00

Last time I went was probably two years ago, and a double (really not a big burger), a frypile, and a soda was like 9-10 bucks.

I'd check that again, it's probably closer to 20.

I think the dude gave us a discount or something since it was our first time. Because it should have been close to 20 but it wasnt. Maybe he was hitting on me and I didnt pick up on it:sneaky:

Ive been around... tried all these places and let me tell you.... NOTHING IMO beats IN-N-OUT's animal style burger.... I don't care for their fries but I go through and just get a double/double animal style and its delicious, although it costs me $6 just for the burger. :-D

I think 'worst deal in the burger industry' still has to go to Wendys. A 'baconator' combo was/is like eight dollars, and their 'fresh never frozen' beef tastes like garbage.

IN-N-OUT 4 LIFE.

But I will say when Five Guys first got here I had it and it was awful. A year or two passed and someone said they went there when it first opened and it also sucked but they had it again recently and it was much better, so I gave it another shot and it was definitely better, still not In-n-out, but good :). Like people have said it's mighty expensive, too. Those fries are damn good and they give you a helluva lot.

Anyways, like I said....IN-N-OUT 4 LIFE!

No In-n-outs here in NM though. I have had it and liked it but didnt think it was the best burger out there. Its been a few years since Ive had it but dont they have special sauce they put on their burgers?

It is overpriced for what it is. I spent $10 on what is a burger, fries and soda. I'd rather spend $7 at Burger King and get better tasting fries and a whopper.

Sorry, Five Guys is all hype. It's garbage food. I should short the stock come to think of it.

Burger King's OLD fries were good- but not nearly as good as Five Guys.

They have since changed fries, and they are now shit. Jack in the Box also changed their fries, and they appear to be identical. They're now on-par with, say, Sonic or Wendys, aka worst in the industry.

The FG burgers aren't worth arguing for, though.

Too Greasy.

They built one across the street from Campus and they put the fries in a brown paper bag and the grease just seeps through.

I do like the burgers tho.
