One opened up in my town, maybe I should check iut out. I love a good burger and fries, it will be hard to top McDonald's though

Really? I'm 6'3" and about 230 lb., and I have never left there hungry after an order of a single regular burger and small fry.

I've found you pretty much have to get a double patty burger to get near full. I get tired of the fries and dump a lot of them in the trash, so for me eating at Five Guys is not ever filling, especially not for the price.

😵 You're right that it might be that they skimped on the fries. I've had it occasionally happen to me but normally get a crazy amount of fries and leave stuffed

I am 5'11" and about 212 pounds. I am able to chow down on some food though. I have finally started to gain some weight, but it is not a lot yet. I cut back on the amount of food I eat now. Before the cutback, I was not getting full there.

Yeah. I get the double cheese bacon burger, with a small fries. Of course it's awful for you, but the trick is to indulge occasionally and not every day. In that case it's not bad.

I think I go once every 6 months when I finally forget how uncomfortable it is to eat that much food in one sitting.

Sort of like when I go to White Castle.

They live a sedentary lifestyle while slamming down mountains of rice and beans. What do you expect would happen? Now that we've gotten them on the sugar train, they've taken our fat crown.
 
Worst fries in the history of fries...I'd rather eat shit out of a dead Philippine hooker. Seriously, they're utterly and totally inedible.

Also the burgers are severely overpriced, and not that good anyway. Almost anything else is better (except maybe McD) from a price/product ratio.

Nope, and nearly everyone I personally know agrees with me. No one I know will eat at 5 Guys. We all hate the fries, and think the burgers are too expensive for nothing special. Granted, that's only maybe a hundred people, but it's not a unique opinion.
