Five guys cheeseburger $4.49

In N out cheeseburger $1.85

At more than double the price, I hope its better. I am going to try five guys burgers soon. I really like In N out.

As a native Californian, I should probably be ashamed of this but

[tiny voice] I don't think In 'n Out is the be all end all. Homemade burgers are better.

You gotta remember though

Small Cheesburger @ Five guys = regular burger at In N Out

Also regular fries at five guys = one huge bag full

and if there isn't one, can 1 or 2 of the guys come here and make me a burger?

They are all on the east coast.

Cheers,

Well, that explains that. They like White Castle's too, so you gotta figure they really have nothing to go by.
ANYTHING West Coast > ANYTHING East Coast, except maybe Italian food.
Even Japanese Johnny Rocket's are better than most East Coast Burger Joints.

Leme guess, ordered off the menu? It's not only the food either. Besides the fact that it tastes damn good, I've never been to a dirty In N Out. I can understand ever word the drive-through person says and they must be able to hear me just as clear b/c I have never had my order fvcked up, ever.

Got my order taken by a guy standing outside with a tablet pc at In N Out. That's a win by TKO for me. The food was clean, fresh, and fairly tasty too.

Never heard of 5 guys, though. I find it amusing when restaurants say "Zagat Listed" and the year without mentioning their score, as if merely being Zagat Listed is any indication of quality.

I am from Southern California, and I love In-n-out! However, the Farmer Burger from Farmer Boys is tastier than In-n-out!

I live in NorCal, and I happen to think In N Out is garbage. I don't understand why people think it's good, quality food.

We're only talking about fast food here. I don't think anyone is comparing it to a prime rib. IMO, for fast food, it doesn't get any better. As I explained in a few posts above, it's not just about the food.

i'd trade my in n out for anything. its not THAT good.

fat burger and say rubys are way better, then again i only eat burgers every once in a while. trying to you know be healthy.

i suppose if you eat burgers a lot the cheapness woudl be better.

in-n-out probably is the taste/$ leader .
