If you're not taking time off between jobs, that might be a waste of found money!

Obama is giving that money to people who need it more than you. You've made enough money

Correction, after Obama takes 40% it's down to 4 figures. Fuck him.

No time off. Last day Friday, starting Monday.

I'm sorry, but you wouldn't be getting this money if it wasn't for his stimulation of the economy. Besides, only socialist policies would pay a man for NOT working. :awe:

My wife gets to keep and bank all her paid time off. She has almost a year built up and can cash it out if she leaves or roll it into her pension.

Can you just imagine having a year of pay just sitting there if you quit?

not really, cause that would mean you probably didn't take many vacations during your career.

i didn't know companies outside of the public sector still allows employees to cash out PTO days. In my company, if I dont use it, I lose it. And I damn well make sure I use my 32 PTO days a year

In CA when you leave the company you must be paid PTO in cash. Employees may not cash out PTO while still employed, and they have caps on how many hours you can accrue.

My company doesn't let me cash out days unless I'm leaving. Since I'm near the top of my allowed accrual, I think it's time to take a vacation pretty soon.

I'm amazed they let her do that, our PTO is capped at the amount you earn in a single year. After you accumulate that much, it's use it or lose it.

I never really understood the idea of NOT taking time off then cashing out.
I'm osrry but my free-time and living life is worth more to me than some cash out.
