Fitting VGA Silencer on a 9600pro been done b4?

I just bought a VGA silencer to cool my 9600pro not realizing that it was not compatable with it. (www.xoxide.com's compatability bullet was fairly ambiguous) I was wondering if anyone has tried to put it on one before and what your results were or if I should leave it sealed up and sell it.

It has definitely been done, I see no reason why it shouldn't fit on your radeon 9600pro. Most ATI "sockets" follow the same measurements and I think that only AIW cards will have the most problems.
 
CR@P! I guess It's a good thing I am in the maket for a 9800. Got one of these yesterday and didn't even try to fit it to my 9600pro yet.
