Fitted sheet and flat sheets

I hate flat sheets. I just want my blanket/comforter and that's it.

My wife on the other hand insist on a flat sheet also.

Both. They are more comfortable than anything else you could have next to you. They let you choose your temperature throughout the night(cover + sheet for high temp, sheet for medium temp, nothing for low temp). I can't think of any reason someone wouldn't want both.

I tried to figure out what a duvet is, and the first image on google images is quite interesting. This is with the safe search filter off.

pretty sure my gf's breasteses are more comfortable than both.

box spring -> mattress -> fitted sheet -> flat sheet -> me -> down blanket.

I hate sleeping under flat sheets. Also I don't know if I"m doing the whole bedding thing right, I've never been one to make my bed or anything with proper bed etiquette.

You're doing it wrong. LOL

For me it is:

Frame -> Box spring -> Dust ruffle ->Mattress -> Mattress cover -> fitted sheet -> me and wife -> flat sheet -> down duvet -> light comforter.

In the summer, the down duvet gets put away.

mattress > mattress topper > fitted > me > flat > comforter

I've always slept like this, not sure exactly why I find it more comfortable with a sheet between me and the comforter though.

Wth, why would anybody want to put flat sheet on top of fitted sheet? It'll just slide off by the end of the night (maybe it's just me I flip and turn a lot at night).

My setup: box spring -> mattress -> mattress cover -> fitted sheet -> me -> blanked of some sort (depending on weather)

I didn't know it was optional to use both... The fitted sheet protects the bed, and the flat sheet protects the blanket. I always use both.
