I advise against letting a stupid game get you angry and punching a $500 tablet. FML.

You got frustrated over some game? Get some help.
If video games are not pissing you off sometimes you aren't a true video gamer, though smashing a $500 tablet is a bit much. Most I have ever done is rip a cartridge out if a console and smash it. Cathartic. I have probably snapped a game disc before as well.

Only now do you realize the power of the dark side.

ROTFLMAOPMP!!!!!

Though, I do have to say.....I've been there before with plenty of things in life. Just because it's a tablet doesn't make you any different than those of us who've tossed tools, slammed a gadget, etc.

If it's any consolation....this thread made me laugh!!

It isn't uncommon. I've broken a few controllers and keyboards in my day.

This. I got mad at Madden 2003 for the PC one time and ripped it out of my drive and flung it as hard as I could into my door, where it shattered. :D

Heh, well glad to see I'm not the only one. In all honesty, just gave it a quick flick with my pinky knuckle. Didn't expect it to break. And then I punched it hard a few more times after seeing it was broken :D.

Was playing Hearts online. Hate people that can't pass protect.

I remember being disconnected playing poker once and losing a $92 pot. I slammed my laptop lid shut and the HD got so much shock I heard the click of death. Thank goodness for warranty?

Well OP, you can change your sig now. (Or just add, + rage-smashed screen to the stats.)

No, it means you don't have anger and impulse control issues.

I've never been so mad that it made me lose sight that breaking things means I'm an even bigger loser.

When I was a kid, I went through several SNES controllers. Thankfully I was much less stressful on ps1 and n64 games. I was done with highschool for one.

This explains why I can't find a good set of working Atari 2600 controllers to save my life.

I've thrown controllers, tossed games cartridges, yelled and cussed, but I can honestly say I've never taken it out on my tablet or any display for that matter.

I threw a phone against wall once thanks to Candy Crush when I learned that a level could actually be incomplete. What a lazy programming. Thankfully the phone did not take damage.

What game were you playing?

I would also recommend getting your iPad a case if you're going to let your toddler play with it. That was an expensive lesson :)
