fishing spots near L.A.?

I wanna take a fishing trip on Monday, but I have no idea where any good fishing spots are. Doesn't really matter if it's fresh water or ocean, but anywhere within 2 hrs is fine. Any suggestions?

Try looking at a map. There are dozens of places to fish within 2 hours of L.A. There is Pyramid lake to the North and Elsinore to the South. Azusa Canyon has streams as does Fish Canyon. Puddingstone has bass, trout and crappie. Legg Lake is in Pico Rivera. Santa Fe Dam has everything. How can you not know where to fish in L.A.?
