what's a UCSB?

University of California, Santa Barbara...

um... compared to ucsd, i'd say its just a bit easier to get into, but every UC nowadays is gettin pretty damn difficult... i live in SD, so i never was really interested in ucsd (wanted a change of scene) and UCSB is quite the great location... so yeah, i'm happy

What is double cohort?

The double cohort here in Ontario is this: In the past highschool has gone up to Grade 13 ( OAC ). However, now they are changing it to a new curriculum which only goes up to Grade 12. This year, the 2003 graduating class was the last year of OAC ( and thus the first year of the new 12's ) That means that there are two graduating classes this year ( the old 13's and the new 12's ) Which means in theory twice as many applicants to University and College.

My sister will be going to Syracuse. She's one of those artsy people. Personally, I think they are lazy and hate them.

And what are you doing? Wtf does "artsy types" mean anyway?

means not engineering.
