First X-Men 2 Trailer Released Today (with link)

who cares about Gambit. All I want is the girls to wear in the movie the same amount of clothing they wear in the comics. And since I can't veiw the trailer here at work I just have to hope they do.

I am kinda disapointed. I don't like how they are introducing the whole government conflict right now. I want them to do more superhero vs supervillian stuff.... Oh well.. Maybe that isn't hte WHOLE storyline. It'll be cool if they introduced the Sentials but I didn't see them in trailer.

Anyway, I think I'll just temprorariliy forget that teaster and think about how Iceman, Nightcraler and freaking COLOSSUS are going to be in it

trailer isn't as good, but i still have high hopes
then matrix 2... wow great summer
hopefully spider-man 2 won't take too long either

Spiderman is currently set for the first weekend of May (May 2nd or 5th or something) 2004. Exactly 2 years after the release of the first one

I agree that the core of the lineup was pretty good (Prof X, Wolverine, Magneto) but I'm not certain if it was the casting or script which completely screwed up Storm and Cyclops. Both characters are supposed to be the field generals of the group and Storm came across as pretty weak-willed while Cyke was too much of a whiner. Here's hoping both parts step it up for X2.

Not to mention that they make him more of a street fighter than a real martial artist like Logan really is. The "running/growling/slash" thing at the end of the trailer looked so awkward to be Logan. It should be more elegant, smooth, acrobatic....

Maybe I am just wanting too much....

They'll never be able to rip Wolverine's skeleton out and keep it PG13 at the same time

I'm sure I'll come off as a hopeless comic book geek, but what the hell; Magneto was only able to rip Wolverin's skeleton out of his body because he had crashed through the electromagnetic field of earth when Asteroid M fell, and his powers were increased a ton. Only after that power increase was he able to do it; he couldn't normally do it.
