First Visit to a Fry's Electronics

In Tempe/Phoenix on business...stopped in to Fry's to check it out...

Lemme just say...it's a good thing that there isn't one of these by my house.

You are very right. I live about 5 minutes from that very Fry's...not good.

It really is, i try to get the Friday ad every week even if im too broke to buy anything.

I have like 3 Fry's Electronics within 30 min. of me. I've known about the place for years also like everyone else, but I just don't find myself going there. I've been to only one, once in my lifetime so far.

Yeah, I go in to buy a $5 cable by but the Gauntlet of Impulse Purchases they make you walk to get to the registers gets me every time.

i think remember going to the first ever fry's electronics store... on the south side of lawrence expressway, not the north side as the newer two locations have been.

So true, stupid podiums that the employees stand behind with 50 people in line and a 30 minute wait just to ask where they hid the USB cables....grrr

saw frys the first time last year. I was on vacation and had taken a computer to my nephew for xmas, it died somehow on the way there. We had to drive 40 minutes to frys for parts. Went back 3 times that week

Sad thing is when i was planning on going down to a funeral today (didnt go) the first thing that came to mind was frys was next to the car rental place,..sad

u can also get small electronic parts like those from radioshack. beats best buy big time.
