The PS2 was popular enough that they don't really need to attract cusotmers - they just have to hope the price tag doesn't scare them all away. But yeah that was a terrible ad. They should just rip off Head On's ad campaign it's so damn effective.

Why does Sony even have to advertise that it is coming. Unless you have been on Mars, in a cave, with your eyes closed and your fingers in your ears, you know its coming. The games are what sould be advertised,
