save yourself some time and pain, and read the forum rules in each forum, and enable your profile and Personal Messaging for any selling in Forsale/Trade forums (and to get nice little messages from other Anandtechers) 😉

A couple things you're gonna need to learn. I hope you have a nice credit card with a high limit, you're gonna need it. More likely than not, when something is posted here, it's already been posted at TechBargains, FW, and Hardforums 3 times over (or will be), and everyone's going to see it, and the AT effect happens, and there's no way around it. MIR's can be great or they can be the devil, don't rely on them all the time. Always have a fake email address and phone number for free offers. A&M Camera World is mostly gray market, PMing with them is illegal, so don't do it. Never post coupon codes, just blatantly hint at them or where they could be found. Always link your html, don't be lazy and just cut and paste an address. Doing business with Dell can either make you very very happy or very very mad, but it's well worth the trouble. Just don't get the mentality of class action lawsuits and you'll be fine. And that's all I can think of right now.
