i have never SLI'd before and i need some help, i have a gtx560ti 1gb and a gtx 560 ti 2gb, can i sli the too if they are two different gigs?

Yes, but you'll only have 1gb available. Not two or three.

Its meant to work and as the others have said you'll be limited to 1GB of VRam, the second GB in the additional card will sit idle.
