First Time SLI Help

Alright, i have two EVGA 8800 GTX's that i'm throwing into an SLI config. Two questions:

1. There are two connectors at the rear of the card on each for the SLI Bridge. Do both of those have to be hooked up? Will a Crossfire bridge work, or is it a different setup?

2. There are two 6-pin power connectors per card. Do i need to hook up all four?

I'm an SLI noob, so i just need to make sure i do it right before i fire this baby up. Thanks for the help.

You only need one SLI bridge for two card SLI. The extra SLI terminals are there for a TRI-SLI (3x 8800GTX's). You can place your SLI bridge on the connectors closest to the rear of the case.

Crossfire bridge will not work.

Yes, you need to hook up all 4 6-pin power connectors.

What is your power supply make and model? IMPORTANT!

Awesome. My PS only has 1 6 Pin and 1 6+2 Pin PCI-Ex connectors, but i have a dongle to go from two four pin molexs to the second set of connectors.

Thanks alot for your help Keys.

I have the same PSU as you and I'm running 2 GTX 460 1GBs overclocked to the limit. I'm using 2 6-pin adaptors as only the 850w has native 4 6-pin PCI-e connectors.
