Hi guys! New here and would like some input on this build I put together. Mainly looking for general advice along with some people guiding me in the right direction and pointing out what could be wrong or what could be done better. I'm looking to build a gaming PC that can run medium to high quality with a good frame rate. Thanks in advance!

Looks pretty good. Do you live by a Micro Center? I'd be tempted to go lighter on the CPU (i5) and look into a better/bigger monitor and maybe a better video card. Or just lighter on the CPU to save money. IMO the CPU is a bit of a mismatch (overkill) for the rest of the system.

I'm actually going to one today to scout prices and in stock items. And the processor might be a bit much, it seems like

Awesome. MC has the i7 for around $300 if you decide to go that way. Nothing wrong with the 7700K BTW especially at MC prices.

If i were you i'd go with this at Microcenter instead:

http://www.microcenter.com/product/..._AM4_Boxed_Processor_with_Wraith_Spire_Cooler

You'll also get $50 off any AM4 socket motherboard. I'd much rather have a 6C/12T cpu for $209.00 AND $50 off a motherboard than an Intel i5 for more money. And the stock Wraith Cooler is so good you won't even have to buy a heatsink saving you more money.

Maybe spend a little more on a nicer/bigger monitor. A 21.5" is pretty small.
