This is my first time building a PC and before I buy all the components I want to know if they are all compatible. Also any tips or suggestions would be welcome.

AMD Athlon 64bit 3200+ 754pin
MSI K8N Neo Platinum NForce3 754 SATA
2 x Kingston 512MB 400MHz
PNY Verto GeForce 6 6600GT 128MB
Seagate 250Gb 7200rpm SATA
I-Cute 0314TL Black Atx Gaming Case 400PSU
Sony DRU-710A 16x DVD R/RW

Yep it looks good to go.

As long as your video card is compatible with the slots availible on your motherboard.

AGP to AGP
PCI-E to PCI-E

You probably already got the idea.

I'm worried about that included power supply.... it doesn't sound very reliable (you have a chance of frying your parts).
Alright, one thing though. Instead of getting a Socket 754 cpu, get a socket 939 cpu (it's newer).
Get an nForce4 board, I recommend the ASUS A8N-E board, and be sure you get a PCIe Graphic scard
