Hello,

I have decided to upgrade my system.

Current Machine:
P3 733
Abit VL6 Mobo
PC133 Ram

New parts:
AMD 1700+ -Newegg-$51 Shipped
Abit KD7-E -Ussa-$81 Shipped
Crucial PC2700 256MB

Parts I still need: Need help deciding on parts
Power Supply: ENERMAX EG365P-VE(FMA). 350W Power supply, ENERMAX EG365P-VE(FM). 350W Power supply or anything else? Planning on spending $40-$55
Vid Card: don't know what to get
Heasink/Fan: thinking of Volcano 7+?

BTW I read on another thread about the rev b?
what's stepping? etc.
AMD XP 1700+ OEM

Do you guys use AIM? can I contact you if you don't mind?

You have yourself a Tbred B and it would hit 2Ghz easily. What's your budget for a video card?

hmmm...
you can maybe find gf4 ti4200 for that price easily probably in forsale/fortrade or soemthing

as for heatsink, how much budget for that?
(slk800 is an awesome/relatively cheap heatsink.....wayy better than volcano7+ imo)

The Coolermaster HHC-001 is an awesome HSF. It's got heat pipes, and the whole thing is copper. I just got mine, and my CPU temps dropped by 15 degrees! It is a loud one though. 7300 RPM.

Newegg (my favorite online store) has them for a good price :)
