I can get my winchester stable at 240x10 1.50v... and my cheap ram at a 9/10 divider... my ram is limited up to at about 220 on loose timings... but every time I lower the ram divider to 5/6 or 3/4 my computer won't boot... but 9/10 is fine...

is it possible my ram can't run on a lower divider?... I've tried all the different ram settings.. running them as fast or slowrunning auto etc... nothing boots at 5/6

Ultra-D here with a Venice 3000+.

Some dividers just flat out didn't work for me (even though they were looser than dividers that did). Memory controller/mobo - not sure. I don't think it's uncommon though.

Isn't 9/10 divider at 240Mhz running your RAM at 218Mhz? What's wrong with that? You said it maxes out at 222. Find the best timings you can get at 218 and call it an overclock.

ya but I wanna see how far my winchester will take me... I think I have a good one.. .might be able to hit 2.6
