First time OS X user with a few questions

A friend at work gave me an old iMac g3 with Panther loaded on it. After using it for less than a day I love everything about OS X. I'll never get rid of my pc but I plan on getting a g5 system when I can afford it.

Well, to my questions.

I have enabled sharing and I can see the mac from my pc but how can I see the pc from the mac?

I tried to go to the console and got an error msg. Dont remember exactly what it said but do I have to do something to enable it?

Is it possible to put a wireless nic in this thing? Maybe a usb version?

Where can I go to learn more about the console & commands?

Thanks a lot

- Wireless should work. Just make sure that it has OS-X drivers.
- OS X commnads: http://www.ss64.com/osx/

you should be able to access it. If you have a folder shared out on your pc. On your make, go up to Go->connect to server, Hit browse, and click on network on the left. It should show the workgroup that your pc is in, after that just click on your computer and login.

Alternatively, you should be able to connect to your PC if you know the IP address of it. Instead of hitting browse when you connect to server, just type this in the box that appears:
smb://ip address/
