First time I'm taking graduate level courses that require no midterm and final...

So I'm working on my Master's in IT. I'm taking two courses this semester, both of which require no midterm and final. I thought at first it might be pretty good. But I'm feeling that you really don't learn anything. Since pretty much you know you're going to get an A by just doing the work. There seems to be no motivation to study etc....

I guess I might enjoy this kind of thing if I were in grade school but it seems to suck in gradute let along college level courses.
