well, my laptop is not getting any buyers over in the FS/T board or on Craigslist so I'm going to have to resort to Ebay.

I've never sold anything on Ebay. I've bought a bunch of things so I have some feedback.

Can anyone give me tips, tricks, maybe a good Ebay template I can use to sell my laptop?

Look at laptops similar to yours on Ebay, and follow the formula that looks like it will work best for you.

I doubt that with the recent hot deals on laptops (i.e. the Dell $750 off $1499) you'll get a very good price.

I'm selling it for $700 here. The couple Compaq x1000's I've seen with similar specs as mine have gone for about $800 on ebay! I personally think it's a good deal for a real nice machine

One of the tricks that people use on eBay to get hits on their page is to include "700m" or "not 700m" in your title... It's a little misleading, but you'll get people to look at your page...
