All from newegg:

ASPIRE X-Navigator Silver/Black Aluminum ATX Mid-Tower Case with side window and 500W Power Supply, Model"ATXA8NW-AL/500" -RETAIL - $159.00

ZALMAN CNPS7000B-Cu Copper CPU Cooler for Socket 478/462/754/939/940 CPUs -RETAIL - $47.99

Hitachi 80GB 7200RPM IDE Hard Drive, Model HDS728080PLAT20, OEM Drive Only - $57.50

2xCorsair Value Select 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 - Retail - $142.72

MSI "K8N Neo2 Platinum" NVIDIA nForce3 ULTRA Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket 939 CPU -RETAIL - $137.99

AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64 3500+, 2.2 GHz, 512KB L2 Cache 64-bit Processor - OEM (90nm) - $285.00

Questions:

1. Is the case silent, is it's cooling sufficient, is it's power supply good enough for overclocking the processor and a high end gpu, and is it a reasonable cost?
2. Will the Zalman heatsink and fan be good enough and will it fit on the processor/mobo?
3. Is the corsair memory a good type for overclocking the processor and a high end gpu?
4. Will my ATI video card (radeon 9000 agp, planning to upgrade to a better ATI later) work fine on this Nvidia mobo?

Any feedback is appreciated.

dont know much about case do w/e you want there
replace that zalman heatsink with a xp-90 with panfola fan
get a sata drive 80gig seagate i would say
i would get bettter ram just in case you devide to overclock.
get a 3200 a64 and oc .2 and you got a 3500 and for alot less 3500 wont oc anymore than 3200
instead of that mobo i would say get the msi neo 3 plat.
yes it your ati card will work find on a nf 3 chipset but i ould get a new video card do you game i am guessing you do i would reocmmend the 6600gt or if you want somthing better 6800gt and oc to ultra.

give us link for case i dont know which one that is.

I wouldn't touch an Aspire if at all possible; PSU's probably a generic, so no overclocking if you do that. It's likely not near-silent either, though if you are overclocking, I'd imagine you'd have to tolerate at least some noise.
Zalman's probably fine.
If you want to overclock your memory, invest in some Patriot CL2 PC3200. It uses Samsung TCCD and can reach very high speeds. jpeyton recommended some in his now-unstickied (for some reason) guide.
Try the Epox NF3 motherboard.
An ATI card of course will work fine; when you upgrade though, I suggest a 6800 vanilla or 6800 GT--the 6600 GT is still priced too closely to the 6800 vanilla to warrant a recommendation, and upwards of $200 nVidia currently wins in video cards.

and could u provide me a link to that guide? i'm looking on newegg and the reviews say that people like overclocking on corsair a lot, there weren't that many reviews at all for patriot ram
