asus is a good starters mobo. i hope you are oc'ing. dont know about the sound card. the mx1000 is horrible if you constantly lift it up all the time.

oh yea get the xp-90, unless you plan on bringing that cpu to 2.8 or something. and if you actually plan on going that high, switch the mobo to dfi. dunno if the 120 would fit. not sure if the corsair would be limiting the oc, your next choice should be ocz.

If you're overclocking like mad (which you should be, given the huge amount of cooling products you listed), then don't get the ASUS. The DFI Lanparty Ultra-D is the best overclocker on the market. However, it's really picky about RAM, and it's probably not the best choice for a first time builder. If you want an easier-to-use board that overclocks pretty darn well, the MSI Neo4 Platinum is an excellent board with tons of great features.

Its a Abit AN8 Ultra and I'm not really looking to OC I'm just looking to get it really quiet.

MSI RS480 M2

It's the ATI Xpress200 chipset, should go good with your x800

small, cheap, quiet

one downside, no OC options in the BIOS 🙁

OR...

The Chaintech VF4 Ultra has real good bang/buck

Why did you pick an 80mm and a 120mm fan? I mean, why not 2 120mm fans for less noise?

lol I don't think so. I looked up the case you listed and the description I found didn't specify the size of the fan mounts.
