one thing that was weird...there seemed to be what looked like a tiny coffee stain on the processor where L3 or L2 is. the guy I bought it from said it was that way to make it multi-processor ready, but after reading around, I'm suspicious that he may have tried to unlock the L3 or L2 cache? I don't know much about it, but I heard that sometimes people try that, but that it can damage the processor...does it seem like that may be the case?

I'm pretty much resigned to getting a new processor, so this is more of a learning experience now...
